There’s a season for everything under the sun, so says the Holy Bible. A tide can be the harbinger of blessings, or rubbish; it all depends on how you choose to see it. There are times in my life when I feel as though I am being carried, against my will, by strong, unfriendly, currents. These times are never pleasant. However, I have realized that fighting these times only leave me battered and tattered. And so, I have learned to “flow with the currents,” when those times come. It took me long time to arrive at this decision; I guess that’s what they mean by maturity. Seasons are natural phenomenon and learning to flow with them puts you in perfect sync with nature. It is the perfect way to live.

Boldness from an unlikely source has a way of confusing those who see themselves as being intellectually superior. It is a typical example of God using “the foolish things of” the “world to confound the wise.”

We are not responsible for how people treat us, but we are responsible for the ways in which we react to their treatments. Are we going to be bitter or better? The choice is ours, and ours alone.

Excellence is another name for a person who refuses to give up on his/her, dream because the going has become too tough; or give in and doubt his/her abilities because others have raised negative questions about those abilities.

It is quite normal to trip, or to even fall, sometimes. What is abnormal, though, is refusing to get up when you do fall.

A man’s claim to knowledge and wisdom makes him  that much more
guilty, if he knows what is right, yet fails to do it.

People who tend to want you to prove yourself before they can believe in you have already made up their mind that they will not believe in you. Telling you to prove yourself before they can do so is simply their way of seeking your own validation of their lack of belief in you.
