The corrupt steal, loot and deprive the rightful of their inheritance. In so doing, he lives under the delusion that he is clever and smart. In the long run, though, the nemesis of his cunning and “clever” way is visited on his children and beloveds. Who then is fooling who?

The Bible says that God’s Word is “Aye and Amen.” Simply put whatever His Word speaks about any man or any situation is exactly what will take place. On Thursday the 19th of November, 2009, I attended a leadership seminar hosted by Vienna Christian Centre. The speaker was Rick Warren, the Pastor of Saddleback Church and author of the international mega-bestseller, The Purpose-Driven Life. The testimony of his life and how he came to write that famed book, confirmed, once again, that indisputable statement; that God’s Word is “Aye and Amen.”
To paraphrase Pastor Warren’s testimony, at the age of 17, he made a decision to give ALL of his life to Christ. With that decision, came God’s instruction. With not much experience, and hardly a dime to their name, he and his wife were led to move to a completely unknown place to set up a new church. Because he had made up his mind to give God ALL of himself, he obeyed. And there began a journey whose road was hardly littered with gold. But God’s Word says in Mathew 6:31- 33 “So do not worry, saying, ‘what shall we eat? or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Seven years ago, the above promise of God was fulfilled in the life of this great man when, according to him, he was “annointed” to write The Purpose-Driven Life. Today, not only has that book sold over 40 million copies, it is also the most translated and most sold book -excluding the Bible – in all of history! Only one book and all that happened within three years! With the mega success of the book has, naturally, come money and fame. In the word of Rick Warren, “suddenly millions of dollars was pouring in and I had no idea, at first, what to do with it!”
A man who formerly had nothing, now his counsel is earnestly seek by Kings and Queens, Presidents and the “crème de la crème” of “Who’s Who” of the world’s rich and powerful. Why? Because he, wisely, chose to seek God’s kingdom first.

Still having problems believing that God is real and that His Word is “Aye and Amen”?

Never give up:  it is at the moment you think all is lost that something amazing is likely to give in.

Don’t let the world’s standards box you up, label you and put you in the attic. It is not over until it is over. George Frederic Handel, the composer of the famed Handel Messiah, composed and orchestrated that manuscript within 24 days. And at the age of 56! By the world’s standards, he had “been there, done that and there was noting new likely to come out from that angle.”
It is not over until it is over.

A man who wants his woman to treat him like a god on two legs, must first of all learn to treat her like a queen enthroned.

To be the best at anything you do, you must school yourself into believing that you are not the best at what you do. Doing so does not mean that you are belittling your efforts. It simply allows your mind to be forever open, searching and willing to learn even more.

Like oil is to the parts of complex machinery so is trust to nation building; neither can function properly without the other.
